Smokin' Guns.

Smokin' Guns - Rock`n`Roll is still alive!!! Yeach... It`s really great music! Immersing in roots of jazz evergreens of beginings XX century It doesn`t stop to surprise and glad even a very experienced music lovers today.Just it`s peculiarity this music style came us together. Smokin`Guns was formed in the end of 2005 year. Initially it was a quartet: Eddy Rifk (voice,guitar,harp), Alexander Ostrijko (tenor-sax), Evgeny Erbenev (bass-guitar) & Sergey Tkachenko (drums). In this staff we successfully played about year.But in summer 2006 the question arose about expansion of collective. We invited jazz vocalist Nastya Bondar,with her original female vocal our music has acquired long-awaited warmth and expressiveness, that we couldn`t achieved for long time. Her vintage blues voice you can hear on first demo record. After Nastya`s leaving in January 2007 under the invitation from Moscow,in our group the vacuum was formed. The matter is, that by then we already have very much got used to a female voice in our collective. As a result of long searches, tests and errors, in the end of April 2007 in Smokin` Guns has come Olga Chekster. Our music has found again former warmth and new breath. The additional shade was brought also by Edward, having got the black clarnet …
Which has added more swing sounding, though group has much "rockabilly-shuffle`s" things, slow blueses, and guitar-pyrotechnic gnashes of Woodstok`s epoch. But once, having learnt that our Olga has younger sister, who sings too,we have decided to try and have heard not one, and the whole two angelic voices which thus and are very lovely. So in the beginning 2008 in our collective has appeared Sofia Chekster. 15.04.08 we have recorded with two vocalists. Concerts pass now in the increased structure. New cities accustom. Now, when our structure is completed on all of 100 %, we`ve plunged into this bottomless world of music and a drive, with each performance carrying away behind ourself new people!
October 2008. We had structure changes. Read "News" section. Now we work with singer Sergey Gomzhin and Evgeny Sokolovsky, known saxophone player in the jazz circles, playing in many popular orchestras under conducted: O.Lundstrem, I.Butman, E.Belousova (the program "Guess a melody"), G.Lukjanova (group "Kadans millenium"), trained at "Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance".
